ARCHIVEWeb archive of the Rätsch lab

The websites of Gunnar Rätsch's research group, its software projects and workshops, 1998 to 2025: preserved as they were, not maintained.

Between 1998 and 2018 the group ran a number of websites on its own servers: the lab site with its people, publications, software and supplementary material, the pages of software projects, the pages of the workshops it organised, and two personal homepages. When the last of those servers was retired in 2026, the sites were preserved here as static copies, each one under a name of its own.

Each copy shows a site as it was at its last change, which the bar at the top of every page states. Nothing is updated, and links to other sites may lead nowhere. Where the original files no longer existed, the pages were rebuilt from the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. A few internal and personal items were left out.

The group today: Biomedical Informatics Group, ETH Zürich.

Services that needed a running program are not preserved: the lab's Galaxy server (its name now leads to usegalaxy.ch), the GBrowse genome browser (to its capture in the Wayback Machine) and the Git server (2012–2017), whose name leads to github.com/ratschlab.
